A new HTC Desire emerges into the news this morning! HTC has been pumping out awesome Android handsets since the beginning of the operating systems existence. The original HTC Desire is one of those devices that is a legend in its own right. It’s awesome design, with at the time high end specs and unique navigation keys, built a solid reputation for the onslaught of Desires that came after it. With the Desire C, Desire HD and Desire 600 being recent additions to the namesake let’s check out what the HTC Desire 200 has to offer!
The HTC Desire 200 first popped up in the rumor mill last year when it received certification in Taiwan. The details surrounding the Desire 200 came in around the same time some undiscovered bench marks of the Desire 600 were published. The 600, however has subsequently been launched and has been on sale since early this month. The Desire 200 has been spotted this morning on video in Vietnam. The Desire 200 is apparently very small and will fill in the entry level and emerging markets excellently. It comes with a 3.5 inch HVGA quality touch screen that offers up a 480×320 pixel resolution and gives its users access to Android version 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich. Internally the Desire 200 should pack in a 1 GHz single core processor, 4 GB of internal memory, 512 MB of RAM, a 1400 mAh battery and expandable micro SD memory. Additional details give the Desire 200 Beat’s Audio, a 5 mega pixel camera and a hope and a prayer that HTC will give the Desire 200 Android version 4.0 before launch. Check out the short video showcasing the unreleased Desire 200 below.
